Wuhan Petrochemical Co., Ltd. has a long history of building a factory, and the equipment in the spherical tank farm and vertical tank farm is aging for a long time. The probe has no signal. As the high and low alarm is now involved in the chain, resulting in equipment misoperation, bringing a lot of trouble to the enterprise, the field staff can not accurately judge the liquid level height, so that the safety risk of the site is greatly increased.
The requirement of safe production in our country is more and more strict, so it is urgent to reform the tank farm on site. At the same time, there is liquid in the tank in the old tank farm, and the medium is oil, so it is impossible to fire or stop production, and other liquid level measuring instruments cannot be installed.
After understanding and investigation, in June 2019, Wuhan Petrochemical Company consulted Shaanxi SKE Technology Co., Ltd., and convened relevant departments and design institutes of the plant for technical exchange. Finally, it is hoped that the problem of liquid level transformation in the tank farm on-site can be solved through the non-invasive level gauge of Shaanxi SKE Technology Co., Ltd.
Since the customer has never used the non-invasive level gauge before, there are some doubts about the stability and accuracy of the level gauge. After negotiation and communication, in July 2019, a Shaanxi SKE technology standard two-wire non-invasive level gauge was installed for the spherical tank and vertical tank of Wuhan Petrochemical Company for one-year trial use, so as to let customers verify the performance and stability of our products.
By June 2020, customers will make a high evaluation of the stability and measurement accuracy of acoustic products after one year’s trial. At the same time, there are power lines on site. The liquid level gauge of Shaanxi SKE Technology Co., Ltd. is a standard two-wire system, and there is no need for wiring. Therefore, it is decided to use the standard two-wire system external sticking type liquid level gauge of Shaanxi SKE Technology Co., Ltd. to reconstruct and install the tank farm.
On June 28, 2020, China South Korea (Wuhan) Petrochemical Co., Ltd. informed Shaanxi SKE Electronic Technology Co., Ltd. that it had won the bid for 55 sets of two-wire non-invasive liquid level gauges of the plant, and the contract signing and delivery had been completed in July 2020.
